With some countries starting to let tourists back in again, many Brits are planning their long-awaited holidays, but how different is it going to be? Initially the government said that anyone travelling back in to the country would need to complete 14 days quarantine. They would need to leave details of where they intend to stay and random spot checks would be done to check they are adhering to it. Over the last week or so there has been new announcements that people going to and from certain countries will not have to partake in the quarantine, which has made travel a lot easier for many. Although the quarantine may not be in place, there will still be lots of other new rules and regulations that will need to be followed. For example, you can expect to have your temperature taken at the airport and refused entry if it is high.
Once at your destination, you may find that many of the tourist places still remain closed or have strict guidelines in place meaning they cannot allow as many people in, not have dance floors set up or enforce hand sanitising. Beaches are often a place of concern when it comes to overcrowding, so many countries have decided to limit the number of people allowed on the beach at anyone time.
