Some jobs involve a lot of travel as part of your job. This may be travelling local to see clients, suppliers or training or it may be that you are sent out on longer term stays away. Travelling for business can be enjoyable, if your company organises the trip correctly. It may be that you have been authorised to book your own accommodation and book your own flight / train tickets. This in some ways is easier as you can then do some research to find a nice hotel in the area you need to be in within your budget.
When travelling for business you need to remember that you are representing your company at all times. This includes when you are at your accommodation. Your employer may have rules regarding drinking and going out when on a business trip, especially if you have meetings or appointments early the next morning.
