Many couples are choosing to get married abroad. They may have dreamt of getting hitched on a sunny golden beach in the Maldives and have saved up enough to fly them and a few guests out there. But most couples have many more people that they want to share their special day with, who they simply cannot afford to pay for or some guests may have to work and cannot get the time off.

One option that many couples are choosing is to have the wedding ceremony abroad but then have the reception back home. This way they can relax and enjoy their honeymoon and then come back and celebrate their recent marriage with loved ones.

After speaking to a number of couples who have done this, they say that they do not regret it and it meant they and their guests were able to enjoy all elements of the wedding.
