Planning a wedding in another country can be exciting and yet stressful, at the same time. You not only have to consider how you will get your guests over there but also the venues, outfits and food/drink. Below I have created a basic checklist that all couples should look at before booking their wedding, these are by no means everything that needs to be considered, but may just give you that head start in planning your wedding abroad.
1) Are your passports up to date – This one point alone could mean that you cannot travel and therefore not get married.
2) Chose an outfit that is suitable for the weather you are expecting. Many couples chose to get married in a country that is quite hot and so you may need to reconsider that large meringue dress.
3) Research the local area and make sure that someone can speak at least a little of the local language – ideally you would want to hire a wedding planning that is fluent in the language to avoid any unexpected issues.
