Over the last few weeks the world has been hit by the widespread Coronavirus that originated in China. The virus seems to be spreading very quickly and affecting people differently depending on their age and existing medical conditions.
There is currently advice from the Foreign Office regarding travel to certain countries where the virus seems to be in abundance.
If you have a holiday booked you may wonder as to whether you should still fly? Unless the Foreign Office advises against travel there you may find that your travel insurance will not cover you should you decide not to go.
If you are young and healthy then there doesn’t seem any significant risk to you and most people under the age of 60 and without serious existing medical conditions seem to recover quite quickly from it. If you are concerns at all about your travel arrangements, check with your doctor as to if they think you are ok to travel.
Now might be a good time to book a holiday with prices dropping down due to cancellations and halts on holiday bookings.
