Weekend breaks – a time to recharge

Weekend or short breaks can be the perfect way to charge your batteries without having to fork out a lot for accommodation or having to take too much time off work. Ideally, you do not want to spend much time travelling on a weekend break as you only have a limited time at your destination and if the travel time is more than half a day, you may feel that you have only just started to relax when it times to go home.

Paris is always a popular destination for weekend breaks for people living in the UK as the travel time is reasonable and there are a number of transport options available such as the Eurostar (train), flights, Ferries or Euro Tunnel (if you are thinking of driving there).

If you like to shop, then Paris is one place that you must visit. It has a huge selection of designer through to high street stores, to suit all tastes and budgets. If you’re not into shopping then you may fancy a trip to see some of the most famous paintings at the Louvre Museum in Paris. This museum building itself is an amazing example of the fantastic architecture you can expect from a trip to Paris.
